CLOTH CLAY PLAY...

Thought I'd share something thats been happening in my life in the last few months...

Been joining in with a super online workshop creating CLOTH CLAY DOLLS with the super talented Jane DesRosier ( Gritty Jane.com ) and loving it so much.

Each lesson is stepped out in easy to follow video lessons.

that even this newbie sewer can follow ...and have enjoyed every step so far.
All the members share photo files just brimming with inspiration and monthly challenges if the cloth clay bug really bites you.

Not finished the first doll yet...but have so enjoyed the process so far

and gotta love my cherubs that make my life so rich... as do my friends that have given me so much love and support of late loosing my best mate...my shadow.

I shall miss you every day you super sock stealer .

Bless you for all the joy and endless love you have given me.

Your forever in my heart dear Billy, my best friend.

Dawnie,
Ohhhhhhhhhh your sweet Billy is gone! :( My heart aches for you! I lost my Buddy 2 plus years ago and still shed tears over him! Amber got a new puppy, Rufio and he is adding some new excitement to our lives! He must be Billy's soul partner, because he steals socks too.....and quickly!!! :0) Anyways, I am sorry for your loss! Our pets are so dear! <3

Your clay doll is amazing so far, so I can only imagine what you will do to her, with your talents of beading and embellishing! I look forward to seeing her evolve!!!! YOU are a talent my friend!!!!!!
Sending hugs and smooches,
Patti

Hi Dawnie
Sorry about the loss of your sock stealer, he would have been a mate to our Zaccy, who steals them from the washing and the folding basket, out of your hands and even off your feet.
Thats a gourgeous photo of your boy.
Looking forward to the finished results of your cloth clay dolls

Dawnie ... so great to have you back in the land of the www. So sad that you had to leave the Reatreat early - but even sadder on the loss of your 'sock stealer' pet - Billie. I so felt for you that day and still do.

Take care of you and your family. Love and hugs!

Eva :-)

PS: Hopefully see you at next years Retreat to catch up on missed 'chit chat'.

I’ve never heard of such a thing “cloth clay art” I’m very curious how you created a beautiful sculpture out of clay and cloth.

Hi Dawnie
Thought I'd pop in and see what you are up to.
I'd love to see what you doll looks like now.
Sorry to hear about your dear old friend. I have a little 16yr old, devoted friend who is by my side constantly, I dread the day the universe decides it's her time.
Sending Hugs your way.
