WET FELTING...it's addictive !

Been to another felting class with the wonderful and talented TANYA PETERS (The Barefoot Felter) and once again had a blast. Created these amazing pods and they need a little more loving on the embellishment side. Super fun and a great base for creating 3D pieces.

Had the privilidge of showing the year 5's at school the art of wet felting which has gone down a treat. Look at all the lovliness they have created.

Now to create something with all the pieces for a group project.

Fabric books and Felting FUN !!!

I've been playing in the lovely TINA'S fabric book and was so inspired by everyones super artwork. It's so nice to leave something as a sign-in, so popped this little tag in a pocket for Tina. Cotten sprayed with glimmer mists and stamped with a favourite COLLECTIONS stamp. Added some hand made paper beads dipped in UTEE and sprinkled with yummy opals.

Really fun to make.

Was so inspired to make a wild women from Dales ( The Thread Studio) challenge so made some silk paper and crazy stitched to black fabric. Love these faces and hands from ARTGIRLZ and added a beautiful treasure given to me by JANE, the treasure queen herself.

Had the pleasure of take a FELTING class a few weeks ago through CATALYST WORKSHOPS with the lovely TANYA PETERS and had a ball making tradional felt using wet felting techniques. My,my this is certainly addictive.

Lets just say that the felting bug has bitten me ...

To then send my little wild women to live with NESS I feel joy when I receive another fabric book and create a page for wonderful gals that inspire me greatly. Women like PATTI that inspire, encourage and say the most wonderful things to me.It does fill me with JOY !

My darling cherubs amuse me greatly and each are very different with their spirit and personality with baby number three taking this...with my phone.A lovely surprise ! Baby number two has been handling it so well, without complain while she deals with this...

and baby no 1 is setting the pathway, leaning the ropes along with us and has a better grip on reality than most

Your all stars in my life and a huge inspiration .

***SUPER STAR***

This is the shinniest of SUPER STAR's in my life ,CLARE MILLS, who has been heavily involved with and one of the driving forces behind the ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY in Southern River, Western Australia.It's been about 11 years and more since she became involved and has had many roles, head dog carer, committe president, personnal manager, just a few of the official jobs. Not to mention all the social work that is required. The hours listening to the life stories of people and animals that pass through the gates and the after hours running around. Its truly a job she loves and adores but never needs 'thankyou' for all her hard work. At 63 years of age she is my hero and many look upon her with adoring eyes. I loves you CLARE BEAR and you are the best mum in the world !

So thought I would add a few pics taken while my good friend Julie patiently captured her new love in her life HARVEY. These kitty cats looked so comfortable as they had found a place to snooze the days away, but nothing would compare to home to call their own.

Some have spent way too long at the refuge as younger cats are chosen for new homes APS has a NO KILL POLICY

Food and medical expences are covered by fundraising as this is a non government funded project.

These animals are cared for by volunteers, 7 days a week.

Alls of this happens through the huge hearts and much love of these wonderful people

that do it to see this... a happy face
